The Talbot Provedore and Eatery is located in the Central Goldfields region of Victoria, just two hours north west of Melbourne.

A beautiful heritage village, with a population of just 442 residence, Talbot is home to the award winning Provedore and Eatery and really comes to life on the third Sunday of the month.  On this day the roads are closed and 1000’s of people flock to the monthly farmers and town hall markets.

The November market will be held following the Celebration of beef – with Provenir dinner event, on Sunday 17th, so make a weekend of it!  Come for the dinner and stay for the markets the following day!

A Plate Up Ballarat food festival event:  Experience a five course feast of foraged, farmed, hunted & harvested produce from our region, paired with wine from vineyards within a stones throw of Talbot.

Gather your friends and join us for a convivial evening as we journey down the backroads of Central Victoria and discover the wild and wonderful produce found in our landscape. 

Honing our vision for showcasing all things local – we have set our sights on taming the wild and plating up a feast for the senses at this special event as part of Plate Up Ballarat food festival.
